a performer

born in portugal to a burmese human rights advocate and dutch diplomat, zina strives to carry out her parents’ commitment to social justice through song.

zina spent most of her early life in france, writing her first melodies in the kitchen as a 5 year old. now in london, she has become a regular face at some of the world’s top recording studios - beavering away and crafting a sound reminiscent of your favourite pop artists, yet uniquely her own.

drawn to songwriting as a visual craft, a medium for political reflection, and both personal and fictional storytelling - zina writes music for everyone.
